Asante Kotoko striker Ahmed Toure has failed to report to the team's training session without permission, GHANAsoccernet.com has gathered.

The 24-year-old was given consent to visit his sick mother in his native Ivory Coast last month.

He returned to the club for the last Premier League game against Medeama SC which saw the Porcupine warriors win to end the first half of the season on top.

Some of the senior players were given an eight-day break to rest but GHANAsocecrnet.com sources understand the former Africa Sports attacker is yet to report to training.

The Kotoko technical team has made several failed attempts to reach him of phone.

Toure raked in six goals for the club during the first half of the season.

The second installment of the Premier League will begin on 19 February.
