Asante Kotoko's Greater Accra Regional Circles Council plans to construct a hostel facility for the club in Accra.

The new facility will serve as accommodation for the team and officials whenever they visit the southern sector.

The initiative forms part of contributions by the Greater Accra Supporter's wing to reduce the huge financial cost of camping on management.

Head of the GARCC planning committee for the construction Nana Kwame Dankwah disclosed measures being put in place to raise funds for the project.

"We (GARCC) are looking to buy a land in Pokuase to be used for this construction," he told GHANAsoccernet.com

"This hostel facility will certainly help reduce the huge cost of camping that management have to bear especially during the league season.

"We are therefore going to organize a fund raising dinner on October 13 at the Teachers Hall in Accra to solicit contributions from corporate bodies, philanthropists and individuals for this project.

"We also plan to organize a raffle where participants will get the opportunity to win some prizes while raising funds for this project."
