Versatile Legon Cities midfielder Jonas Anaya is hoping to make his first Ghana Premier League start for the club when they host Eleven Wonders on Saturday.

The midfielder, who was deployed into defence in the FA Cup win against Inter Allies is confident his performance will earn his a spot in the starting eleven.

Anaya played ninety minutes as the Royals thumped Inter Allies 3-0 on Monday to progress to the round of 32 in the MTN FA Cup.

"It wasn't easy for me, being a midfielder and switching to defence, I think I did well," the player told LCFC's media.

"I'm very sure of a start because looking at our defenders, some of them are injured so I think I will get a chance to play," he added.

Asked if he was confident his side can win on Saturday, he said," Sure we are winning."

Legon Cities are 14th on the Ghana Premier League table after 11 games.
