Leicester record breaker Vardy: Man Utd showed their class and all ok with De Gea

Leicester City's record-breaking hero Jamie Vardy has praised Manchester United players for showing class in the 1-1 draw at King Power Stadium on Saturday.

Vardy scored for the 11th consecutive Premier League match to beat Rudd van Nistelrooy's old record but still the Red Devils players were congratulatory of the Foxes ace.

"Every single one of their players congratulated me, so that's credit to them," said the England striker. "That's class, they didn't have to do that."

The 28-year-old also revealed that all is fine between he and United goalkeeper David de Gea after the duo were involved in a heated exchange of words during the game.

He added: "De Gea and me were fine at the end, no problem. I've just gone for a ball that was there to be won, he has not liked it and so we just shared a bit of banter."
