Man Utd intensify Boateng pursuit after Hazard snub

Published on: 30 May 2012

Manchester United are set to step up their bid for AC Milan attacker Kevin-Prince Boateng.

Italian sources revealed last week that United and Real Madrid had made enquiries with Milan about Boateng's availability.

And the People says United will now step up their interest in the Tottenham reject after losing out to Chelsea in the battle for Lille star Eden Hazard.

Sir Alex Ferguson wants to add the Ghanaian to his squad to play behind Wayne Rooney.

Boateng made 27 appearances and scored nine goals due to persistent injuries this term.

After the Italian giants lost out on the Scuddeto, the ex-Tottenham man could be tempted to give a new leap in his career by abandoning the Rossoneri to sign for a club with higher aspirations.
