Marseille on alert as Andre Ayew changes agent

Olympique Marseille have fresh concerns over the future of talisman Andre Ayew after the Ghana international changed his agent.

The 22-year-old has parted ways with agent Etienne Mendy and joined the camp of Jean-Pierre Bernes.

Bernes masterminded the transfer of Franck Ribery from Marseille to Bayern Munich and Les Phoceens fear he could influence the winger to leave the club.

Already, there is suspicion that the 2011 BBC African Player of the Year is considering leaving the Stade Velodrome.

German giants Bayern Munich, English Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool as well as AC Milan have been linked with the son of legend Abedi Pele.

Ayew is recuperating from a shoulder operation he underwent in April.
