Vision FC president Michael Osekre “won’t deny the gratification” of being linked to a “big club" like Hearts of Oak but insists he won't drop down from being a club owner to an employee.
The highly-rated talent spotter has been linked with the vacant Hearts of Oak Chief Executive job in the local media.
Multiple reports have claimed the highly-respected club owner is in line to replace former Chief Executive Frederick Moore.
The reports further claimed Mr Osekre has been contacted and agreed to join the Phobians as the club hunt for competent personnel to run the affairs of the capital giants.
But Osekre, who is regarded as the "Chief of Staff" of the Ghana Football Association, has rejected the media reports, insisting he won't drop down from his current role.
"How can an owner of a club becomes the CEO of another club? It's always exciting to be linked with a big club like Hearts of Oak, but there is no iota of truth in the reports," he told GHANAsoccernet.com
"I have absolute respect for the club and its majority shareholder, directors and fans, but I have no interest in that role.
"As we speak I am too preoccupied with many things and won't be possible to take up that role.
"We are focused on improving my Vision FC and work for the betterment of Ghana football in general.
"So kindly disregard the reports. I wish Hearts of Oak the very best and same applies to all clubs competing in the Premier League."
The business titan has developed and groomed several players for the European market including Al Fahya and Black Stars winger Samuel Owusu.
Norway-based Michael Baidoo and Hearts of Oak's Nurudeen Abdulai are a host of top stars, who are under his radar.
