We have learnt with deep shock and sadness the passing of former Ghana President Jerry John Rawlings.
The iconic ex-Ghanaian leader passed away at the country’s Premier medical facility – the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in the early hours of Thursday.
President Rawlings was Ghana’s first president in the Fourth Republic.
An enigma and a charismatic leader, His Excellency Jerry Rawlings paid his dues to the nation.
He was an ardent supporter of Ghanaian football and will forever remain in our hearts.
