Thomas Partey and Atletico Madrid teammates are determined to ruin Barcelona titles hopes when they meet on Tuesday night at the Nou Camp.

Barcelona are desperate for the win to remain in contention for the Spanish La Liga title having dropped two important points at Celta Vigo this past weekend.  The draw at the Balaídos saw Real Madrid extend the lead at the top of the table to two points.

Hence the Catalan club cannot afford to drop points against Atletico. The Roji Blancos, on the other hand, are poised to take three points as they chase Champions League qualification.

They have been in great form since the resumption of the league, winning four and drawing just one of their last five games. Partey of course featured and contributed immensely in all five games.

Partey is expected to rise to the occasion tonight, especially in the absence of his midfield partner Koke, who is suspended for the match.

The Black Stars midfielder has linked with a move away from the club this summer. However, he has demonstrated great concentration anytime he has been handed the opportunity to anchor Atletico's midfield.
