PREMIER - Chelsea outclass Tottenham Hotspurs

Published on: 19 September 2021

Chelsea's unbeaten start to the season continued with a 3-0 victory against London rivals Tottenham on Sunday, as both clubs paid an emotional homage to legendary scorer Jimmy Greaves.

Chelsea took the lead early in the second half through Thiago Silva, before N'Golo Kante scored his first goal for the club since December 2019.

Chelsea's dominance was capped off by Antonio Rudiger's stoppage-time goal, as Thomas Tuchel's latest tactical masterpiece paid off handsomely.

Tuchel's team is undefeated in the Premier League, having won four of their first five games.

Despite a difficult match list that includes travels to Liverpool, Tottenham, and Arsenal, Chelsea has only surrendered one league goal so far this season.

The champions, Manchester City, will visit Stamford Bridge next weekend, putting their title credentials to the test once more.
