The Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) has decided to abandon the 2019/2020 season of all football leagues with immediate effect amid the coronavirus pandemic.

An agreement between the executive committee, Cameroon transitional technical committee and Cameroon women’s football league on Tuesday 12 May 2020 saw the top-flight (Elite One) and second-tier (Elite Two) leagues concluded.

The women’s top division and the national youth football championships for the 2019/2020 season have all been ended.

In effect, PWD Bamenda have been crowned champions of the 2019/2020 top-flight as they were table toppers as at the time of concluding the season.

Bamenda were leading Cotonsport Garoua by one point, and also had a match in hand when the championship was suspended in mid-March. There were six rounds still to complete.

Bamenda will represent Cameroon in the CAF Champions League next season with second-placed Cotonsport also participating in the Confederation Cup.

Astres Douala and Louves Minprof have also been crowned as winners of the second-tier league and the Women's ’s league respectively.
