Ghana midfielder Rahim Ayew claims his brother Andre is the ideal leader the Black Stars require to end their trophy drought on the continent. Ã
There are many who have touted the leadership qualities of the Marseille winger after he captained the countryââ¬â¢s under-20 team to win the World Youth Championship in 2009- a historic à feat chalked by an African nation in the 33-year history of the championship.
The Black Stars are desperate to end a 30-year wait for an African title after missing out on the crown at the 2012 African Cup of Nations held in Gabon and Equitorial Guinea.
Ghana legend Mohammed Polo has been critical of the leadership qualities of John Mensah and wants him replaced and the SKà à Lierse midfielder claims his younger brother can à drive the team to success.
"This guy wants to win trophies and maybe as captain of the Black Stars he would win us the Fifa World Cup,â⬠Ayew is quoted by the Finder Sports newspaper

Ayew took temporal charge of the captaincy role during the quarterà finalà game at the 2012 Nations Cup against Tunisia where his goal sent Ghana through to the semi finals.
