Ghanaian midfielder Richard Boateng has been named Real Oviedo's Player of the Month for August.
The former Liberty Professionals youth team player was chosen by the fans in a poll ahead of teammates Saul Berjón, Yoel Bárcenas, Sergio Tejera and Alfonso Herrero.
The 26-year-old has been key for the Andalusian side in the three matches he has featured in so far.
He is one of the reasons for Real Oviedo remaining unbeaten with two draws [Extremadura UD and Cadiz] and a win[Cordoba].
