Samuel Eto'o urges Africa to heed to safety measures  amid coronavirus outbreak 
Samuel Eto'o could face more than 10 years in prison if he is found guilty of tax fraud

Cameroon and Barcelona legend, Samuel Eto'o has called on Africans to adhere to preventive measures given out by the World Health Organisation (WHO), governments amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The Covid-19 has been  declared as a global pandemic and has caused havoc across the globe with a lot of people infected and unprecedented death cases recorded.

China and Italy lead the list of reported cases and death tolls for the Covid-19.

Eto'o has urged Africans to heed to the warnings and prepare against the deadly virus which has already hit a lot of African countries.

"My African brothers and sisters Corona virus took over our lives with malice and arrogance and without warning."

"I ask you to respect the instructions issued by our country's authorities and the World Health Organization, let us do this for ourselves, for our children, for our parents, for our neighbors, for Africa."

"Race, religion or political parties do not know, laugh and kill rich people like the poor even in countries where the search is successful enough, the consequences are dire and unexpected.", he added.
