Talking to DAZN, in the wake of Inter Milan latest win over Salernitana, Neroazzurri veteran winger Ivan Perisic stated:
“It’s always great to score a goal, but what matters is that the team wins. We did well from the first minute. We’re playing well at the moment and you can see that on the pitch. We’re all defending and attacking together, which means we’ve struck the right balance.
We’re doing well and have to keep it up. The match against Napoli could’ve been the turning point, but we also produced impressive performances beforehand, such as in the derby. I now play as a wide player in a five-man midfield, rather than as a winger. I do more defending, but it’s a pleasure to play in this team. Next up is Torino, which is our chance to end the year on a high and we want to win that one as well”.
