Swansea have been boosted by the news Andre Ayew is set to return to action when they take on Chelsea on Saturday in the English Premier League.

Ayew has been struggling with an ankle injury that has forced him to miss the last three games, but boss Francesco Guidolin expects to have him back available against the Blues.

Guidolin will be delighted to have a selection dilemma going into the clash as Modou Barrow will also be back available after being rested during the 2-2 draw with Stoke last weekend.

"Modou didn't train last Friday because he was very tired, so I decided to play with players who were not playing in the international break," Guidolin revealed.

"Yes I started with Ashley Williams, the captain, and Gylfi Sigurdsson, but I thought Gylfi looked a little tired even though he scored a very good goal. He was not in his best condition."

To add to the selection dilemma, Jefferson Montero also showed his class during the second half against Stoke and is bang in contention to figure.
