Talent Tavern: Italy-born Elimelech Enyan set for breakthrough season at Chievo Verona

Italy-born Elimelech Konduah Enyan is to play in the first team of Chievo Verona this season after consistent displays for their youth side last term.

The 19-year-old was signed by Serie A side Atalanta in 2019 after explosive displays for the U17 side of Chievo.

But the left-back was loaned back to his former club to continue his development.

Enyan made 15 appearances last season in the Youth League and provided five assists.

These performances earned him several spots in the Team of the Week

Qualities:

Enyan is a technical full back with great propensity to attack accompanied with an outstanding ability to run technical ability to help him execute his plays.

He is fast and agile on the short runs and the necessary endurance for the long one.

Just like modern full backs, he makes marauding runs and feel at ease when he has the ball.

The technical abilities comes out when he is ask to cross or make long plays for the offensive players of the team.

He has a thunderous shot and although left-footed, he is able to make equally decent plays with his right foot.
