Techiman City FC’s Roger Nortey was named Man of the Match in their 4-2 defeat at Sekondi Hasaacas in the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.

He becomes the second Techiman City player to win that award after Baba Mahama was adjuged the best player in the debut match against Berekum Chelsea last week.

The diminutive winger came on after 41 minutes and was a game changer as the Citizens fought back into the game.

Nortey scored the club’s first-ever Ghana Premier League away goal with a fabulous finish on 58 minutes which put the score line at 3-1.

Baba Mahama later scored to make it 3-2 but Hasaacas restored their lead with an injury time goal.
