Mikel Arteta responds to David Raya criticism following Porto defeat

Arsenal faced Porto in the Champions League round of 16 first leg game on Wednesday and suffered a 1-0 late defeat.

The late goal came at the 90+4 added minute when Galeno got the ball 35 yards from goal and bended a shot past David Raya into the beck of the net.

Following the game, Raya became a subject of criticism.

Mikel Arteta was also quizzed on the goalkeeper’s performance during the post match press conference.

He said when asked if Raya was at fault for the goal: “When you give the ball away three times in that area, you cannot do it.”
