Juventus failed to make significant inroads in their bid to reach the top four after stumbling to a 1-1 draw at Venezia.
Alvaro Morata had given Max Allegri's side a 32nd minute lead at their struggling opponents who are 16th in the Serie A table.
But the hosts came out in the second half and grabbed an equaliser 10 minutes after the restart through Mattia Aramu to earn a draw and leave the Old Lady six points off Atalanta in the final Champions League place but having played a game more.
