Ghana captain Andre Ayew and his Al Sadd teammates celebrated Spain midfielder Santi Carzola on his 37th birthday before training in Monday.
The Spain legend turned 37 on December 13, 2021 and just before practice the players formed a circle to to celebrate him.
Carzola and Ayew have been pivotal to the Qatari-giants as they seek to defend the league title.
The team trained under new manager Javi Garcia, who replaced Xavi Hernandez after he left to rejoin former club Barcelona.
The Qatari Stars League has been on break due to the FIFA Arab Cup currently ongoing, with the Asian giants in the semifinal.
Andre Ayew has bagged seven goals in nine league appearances for the Wolves.
