The agent of Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew has revealed his client is set to move to Serie A this summer.
The 20-year-old winger has been loaned out by Marseille the last two seasons but has boosted his profile this summer during the World Cup finals in South Africa.
Ayew helped Ghana go within a whisker of reaching the last four, catching the eye of top clubs across Europe.
And the youngster has set his sights on Italy, with Palermo his most likely destination.
"I am working on a Serie A move. He wants to play in Italy," Ayew's agent, Luca Pagani, told Sky Italia.
The second-born son of Marseille legend Abedi Pele, Ayew was born in France but opted to represent Ghana after playing for Les Bleus' Under 18's.
He captained Ghana to victory at the 2009 Under-20 World Cup before spending last season on loan at Arles-Avignon, helping them secure promotion from Ligue 2.
Last week Ayew, who has already made 26 international appearances, said he was willing to return to Marseille and fight for his place at the Stade Velodrome.
But it appears he is eager to make the most of the opportunity having put himself in the shop window during the World Cup.
