World Cup qualifiers: Black Stars train in Johannesburg ahead of must-win Ethiopia clash

Black Stars trained at the Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg on Wednesday ahead of the must-win clash with Ethiopia.

All 24 players who made the trip trained under the guidance of head coach Milovan Rajevac and other members of the technical team.

Rajevac's side are without deputy captain Thomas Partey who is struggling with a groin injury.

Defenders Jonathan Mensah and Gideon Mensah have both withdrawn from the squad because of injuries.

Meanwhile, youngster Felix Afena-Gyan wasn't released by Italian club AS Roma.

Ghana will face Ethiopia in the penultimate match of the second round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers on Thursday afternoon.

The match will kick off at 13:00 GMT.
