Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew scored the winner as Olympique Marseille beat Brest 2-1 on Sunday.

The 22-year-old struck in the 56th minute to hand Elie Baup’s team a priceless away win in Ligue 1.

The second son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele has now scored three times this season in the French top flight.

This was after Souleman Diawara’s 34th minute opener was cancelled out in the 42nd minute by Charlison Benschop.

The win now takes Marseille to second with 29 points – two points adrift leaders Olympique Lyon after matchday 15.

he wasn’t that impressive in the said match, though he gave all his best.jordan was in thick of affairs and could have scored atleast goal but good keeping and poor shoting denied him a goal.he’s growing in confident in each day.his foot work and work rate was one of the best on the field.

    • KWAME PITO says:

Jordan Ayew is a Leftee. If you watched the game, That one-on-one chance he got was close to his left flank so he had to curl the ball with the right foot which he tried but failed to curl the ball enough. Not many players can curl with their weaker foot unless practice practice. Asamoah Gyan is good at curling with his left weaker foot. we saw in the friendly against England when he was able to curl from close to the right flank with his weaker left foot around the English defender for the equalising goal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmdF-K8vi9s

these lads are damn good. if only the can keep their head up and make the right decisions, they will surely go far

  8. Pimpong Frim says:

Jordan is not a lefty. He is clearly right footed. Andre is left footed and won’t use his weaker foot like many left footers
