Ghana winger Andre Ayew says the playing style of Swansea City convinced him to join them to play in the English Premier League.
Ayew joined the club from French side Marseille and it was thought he could have moved to a bigger club.
But the Ghana international says playing style was a factor in his decision to move to the Wales-based team.
"Before signing for Swansea, there were big club offers. It was a choice that was really thoughtful. I took my time, I weighed the pros and cons, my age what I wanted to achieve in football and how I should do it," Ayew told RMC.
"With my family, I decided to go to Swansea, it was somewhere where I had the confidence of the manager and the president 100%."
Ayew, though, admits he has bigger plans.
"I am ambitious.
"I really wanted to take time to adapt to this championship, in a good team. I did not want to go to a team that does not play, which does not try to create to score goals.
"Swansea gave me everything I wanted, both financially and sportingly.
"Now I am ambitious and we will see later (about a move)."
