Ghana winger Andre Ayew admits English Premier League defenders have now discovered his style of play but the Swansea City star says he will find a way to outfox the opposition as he bids to get the goals to save his club.

The 25-year-old has made a promising start to life in Swansea, scoring six goals including one in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.

But the Swans have won just one of their last 10 games to leave Monk facing a fight to avoid the sack.

Upcoming fixtures against Liverpool, Leicester and Manchester City would appear to offer little hope of an improvement in fortunes.

And Ayew admits he must find away to become a more potent threat in front of goal.

He said: "Once people get to know you they start to use different tactics to keep you quiet.

"So I need to work even harder because things are becoming more difficult for me and the team.

"That is the nature of the game and that is why you have to respect people like Lionel Messi and Ronaldo who always find ways to influence a game.

"When you start and you are winning and scoring, people mark you with a different eye and if you keep working the same way you will not be effective.

"So to be ambitious and to be a great player you have to have more to help the team and the manager, and I have to do more. I have not achieved anything yet.

"We know we are facing a difficult side in Liverpool next, who have a big squad.

"But we are going there to try and get something and we will go there with confidence and belief."
