Angry Kotoko drag Bechem United official to Ghana FA over bribery claims

Kotoko have dragged Bechem United spokesman Bismark Danso to the Ghana FA over a bribery allegation which has tainted the image of the club.

The Porcupine Warriors are fuming with rage of the wild allegation which threatens their reputation.

The club has written to the Ethics Committee of the FA to 'invite the PRO to either justify or back his claims'.

“The PRO’s remarks have dragged our name into the mud” said the letter. Kotoko also reported the behaviour of the GFA’s Venue Media Officer in Bechem, Prince Agyeman Duah who it accused of “circulating similar allegations on the same match” on social media'" portions of the letter read.

“As an officer of the GFA, we find Prince Agyeman Duah’s attitude reprehensible…The actions of Bismark Danso and Prince Agyeman Duah are inimical to the growth of our football hence our call on you to look into it and take appropriate action” said management’s letter.

Danso made the damning accusation against the biggest Ghanaian club after his managed a famous 3-2 penalty win  over the side to advance to the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Sunday.

He alleged among others that embattled General Manager Samuel Opoku Nti 'begged' his side to play it soft.
