Paju: 13 coaches are participating in the inaugural AFC Futsal Fitness Coaching Certificate Level 1 Course in Paju, Korea Republic which began on November 18.

Jayme Shin from the Korea Football Association (KFA) Education Team, in his opening speech, said KFA was honoured to host the first fitness coaching course in Korea Republic and hoped that the course would promote futsal throughout the nation.

AFC Futsal Fitness Instructor Miles Downie thanked Shin and the KFA for organising the course and their continuous support towards futsal development, and urged the participants to work hard to improve the level of futsal.

The course is part of an ongoing programme to develop futsal in Korea Republic, with the first-ever AFC Futsal Goalkeeping Coaching Certificate Level 1 course taking place earlier in November.

Korea Republic’s futsal national team have also qualified for the 2018 AFC Futsal Championship after topping Group B of the East Zone Qualifiers, and the course will be beneficial in supporting the team and staff for the Finals in Chinese Taipei next year.
