Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem North, Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang has reaffirmed his desire to take over the reins of CEO of Kumasi Asante Kotoko if he's given the nod by Manhyia.

This makes it the second time the member of Parliament and a sports marketing consultant, is expressing interest in the Kotoko job after making his initial advances when Dr. K.K Sarpong left his position as Executive Board Chairman of the club a couple of years ago.

Speaking on Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports with PJ Mozee , Hon. Baah Agyemang, who doubles as a member of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Youth, Sports and Culture revealed that he’s been cleared by parliament already to hold a position of profit hence he is ready to steer affairs of the club if he’s handed the responsibility from Mamhyia.

“I once expressed interest in running the affairs of Kotoko when Dr. K.K Sarpong left and as it stands now, if I’m offered the position of CEO of this great club, I will readily accept the offer.

“If you are an Ashanti and Manhyia calls you to serve, who are you to refuse?

“Moreover, I am a dye-in-the-wool Kotoko fan so I will gladly accept the offer if it’s handed to me.” Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang told Happy FM.

Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang has already been cleared by parliament to hold a position of profit hence he is ready for the position any time it comes calling.
