Asante Kotoko assistant coach Michael Osei has started his refresher course at FSV Frankfurt 1899 in Germany.

The assistant coach left Ghana about three weeks ago to upgrade his knowledge  on the game as the Porcupine Warriors bid to wrestle back their league title AshGold next season.

He has so far held lessons both on and off the field with the German side.

The former New Edubiase man is not new to the German terrain, having coached Offenbach Kickers four years ago.

Two seasons ago Michael Osei was the head coach in the Absence of Mas-Ud Dramani when Kotoko beat Inter Allies to lift the MTN FA Cup.

He is expected to spend a couple of weeks there but should return in time to begin pre-season with the Porcupine Warriors.
