RTU Chief Executive Ibrahim Kadri dies

Ghana Premier League side Real Tamale United have been hit with the sad news of the death of Chief Executive Ibrahim Abdul-Kadri, who died yesterday after a protracted illness, Ghanasoccernet.com can confirm.

Kadri, popularly known as Joe Kadri, died at the Tamale Teaching Hospital and will be buried on Sunday morning according to Islamic practice.

He served as Secretary for the Tamale-based for 16-years before his elevation to the post last year.

Kadri worked at the Nyankpala Campus of the University of Development Studies (UDS).

This comes as big blow for the club who are struggling to find their feet in the Glo Premier League.

RTU are currently at the foot of the League table and are scheduled to play Dwarfs in Cape-Coast on Sunday afternoon.
