Ghana to play Libya in CHAN final on Saturday

Ghana will play Libya in Saturday's CHAN final

Ghana will face Libya in the final of the 2014 African Nations Championship on Saturday.

This will be repeat of their Group C clash which ended 1-1 played in Bloemfontein.

The Local Black Stars beat their arch-rivals Nigeria 4-1 on penalties with ten men after Kwabena Adusei was sent off in the 64th minute.

Libya also reached the final after beating Zimbabwe 5-4 on penalties after the had ended goalless following 120 minutes of football.

This is Ghana’s second appearance in the final of the CHAN tournament after losing 2-0 to DR Congo in the maiden edition in 2009.
