Ghana international winger Christian Atsu has described Real Madrid and Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo as unbelievable after his clash with the Ballon D'or trophy holder at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
The 23-year-old Chelsea winger FIFA Ballon d'or holder at the 2014 FIFA World Cup when Ghana played Portugal in a final Group G match at the Estádio Nacional Mané Garrincha in BrasÃlia, a game Ghana suffered a 2-1 loss with Ronaldo scoring the match-winner for the Europeans in the 80th minute.
And, Atsu who was playing his maiden FIFA World Cup tournament still keeps memories of the encounter with Ronaldo and has described the Real Madrid cult hero as unbelievable.
"In the World Cup with Ghana I played against Cristiano Ronaldo, he was unbelievable," he told CrosstheLine.
Atsu has been recalled by Chelsea from his loan spell at Bournemouth where he has failed to get regular first team action and has been linked with a loan move to Turkish side Galatasaray.
