Ex-Kotoko chief Jarvis Peprah claims coach David Duncan has an unbridled hatred for the Porcupine Warriors.
The Hearts of Oak trainer has come under fire for claiming appointments of national team coaches were not based on merit but on ‘political’ grounds.
The ex-Ashantigold trainer made the astonishing claims when he spoke during a forum of Hearts’ supporters last week that there was a deliberate ploy to engage ONLY Kotoko coaches for various national teams.
But the former Asante Kotoko Chief Executive says he is not surpised with Duncan’s outburst because he has an unconcealed hatred for the two-time African champions.
“He (Duncan) knows that he hates Kotoko and he won’t deny it. Coach Duncan simply does not like Kotoko right from his days at Great Olympics,†Peprah said
“I have confronted him before and he can attest to the fact he doesn’t like our great club much.
“I don’t know what Kotoko has done to him but he simply hates the club for no apparent reason.
“So even though I was shocked to hear such comments from him, but on second thought I should not be too surprise because he has something against the club."
Duncan’s comment has drawn wild criticism since the facts do not support his claims.
