Defeated Central Regional FA chairman MNS Doe has welcomed an out-of-court settlement offered in his challenge of the election of Roy Arthur as a member of the Ghana FA’s Executive Committee.

A committee mandated by the newly installed Executive Committee have made on offer to MNS Doe into withdrawing his court case against Roy Arthur for an alternative settlement.

Does is in court to challenge the election of Roy Arthur as the chairman of the Central Regional FA on the basis he was not in good standing to stand for the elections in the first place.

As a result, the former Chief Executive Officer of BA United was prevented from taking the oath of office in becoming a member of the new GFA Ex.Co.

With fears over a protracted legal tussle, the new Executive Committee has decided to look for alternative ways to resolve the dispute which has been accepted by MNS Doe.

“A committee from the Executive Committee came here to talk to me over an out of court settlement over the issue with Roy Arthur,” he said.

“I want an amicable settlement of this case for the truth to come to the fore so I have accepted this offer.”

It is however unclear whether the withdrawal of the court case against Roy Arthur will put him in the clear towards being sworn in as the new chairman of the Central Regional FA and also as a member of the Executive Committee.
