Ghana youth winger Enoch Ebo Andoh says his AEL Limassol side will fight to earn good results against French giants Olympique Marseille in their Europa League tie.

The Cypriot champions are in France to face the former European champions at the Stade Vélodrome in a Group C fixture on Thursday. While Marseille are undeniably favourites going into the tie, with home advantage adding further weight to the online bookmakers' prediction of a French win (see the latest Europa League odds from FREEbets.org.uk, they will be wary of a team that has the potential to do well on the day and upset the favourites.

Limassol shared the spoils in a goalless stalemate with German Bundesliga side Borussia M'gladbach in their group opener a fortnight ago and must impress against Marseille to boost their chances of progress to the knock out stages.

And Andoh who has been named in Pambos Christodoulou's 24-man squad for the tie remains bullish of Cypriot giants' chances.

"Undoubtedly Marseille have a strong team and they are one of the forces in European football but we cannot afford to lose against them. We will shock them at their own backyard," the former FC Porto team B playmaker said.

The 19-year-old nimble-footed has been influential for AEL in their domestic campaign.
