Ghanaian midfielder Aziz Tetteh was handed a starting role as Lech Poznan got bundled out of this season's Europa League on the away-goals rule after playing 2-2 with FC Utrecht at the INEA Stadion on Thursday night.

Tetteh was at his usual best for the Polish side but they missed out on the ticket to the last phase of the qualifying round following a 2-2 aggregate draw.

Dutch winger Gyrano Kerk put the visitors ahead with just a minute on the clock before Christian Gytkjaer leveled the score line for the Lech Poznan in the 26th minute.

As the game looked to be ending in a 1-1 stalemate, the host were dealt a big blow following Zakaria Labyad's 89th minute strike, and Poznan replied again on the 94th minute mark through Gytkjaer but it was too late as the Dutch club advanced to the last round of the competition with a 2-2 aggregate score line.
