Edward Ansah returns to Hearts

Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak have appointed veteran Edward Ansah as their new goalkeepers’ trainer, can exclusively reveal.

The former Ghanaian international will join newly appointed coach Herbert Addo and his assistant Stephen Abugri to form a strong coaching staff at the club.

Ansah is making a return to the club after leaving South African side Black Leopards.

He has served Black Stars as their goalkeeper coach under coaches such as Bukhard Ziesse, Mariano Baretto, Claude Le Roy, Milovan Rajevac and Goran Stevanovic since 2004.

He was replaced as Black Stars keeper coach in May 2012 by under-fire Nassam Yakubu.

Ansah trained goalkeepers such as Richard Kingson during his stint with the Black Stars.

    How loyal is he to the club that natured him? He dumped Phobia for the pharafees in 1993 just bcos of GH5 cedis He dumped Sammy Adjei for Olelen Macharthy for Adams. To me its a bad move they should have considered Ali Jarah. Eddy is very badman n opportunistic he doesn't love the club. Fire burn him

    Why was Ansah replaced? With his World Cup know how, why should he be replace with a clueless goalkeeper trainer. Please dissolve this FA.
