Charles Kwadwo Ntim is the latest Division One club owner in Ghana football following his purchase of B.A Stars and this comes just after a renowned Nigerian evangelist Temitope Balogun Joshua bought another Division One club Wassaman United in July.

Both owners,T.B Joshua and Charles Kwadwo Ntim will be more than happy to gain immediate promotions of their clubs to the country's top-tier but the latter could be navigating a tricky territory in Techiman, the intended home of B.A Stars.

On Wednesday 17th April,2013 Techiman Universal stars goalkeeper's trainer Lamine reportedly used a knife to jab the eye of BA Stars' goalkeeper, Kwame Noah in Division one match between the two sides in Techiman and Techiman Universal Stars therefore affirmed that Wednesday was gradually gaining momentum to be known as indeed the Black Day in Ghana football fraternity following the Shame of 28th March,2007,another Wednesday that saw Great Mariners,Nania FC,Okwahu Utd and Mighty Jets record 60 goals in two middle league matches.

Universal Stars have since relegated themselves from football even though they have not received any official notice from the nation's governing body of football and there is a great animosity between the two clubs following the 17th April awful incident.

However, a native of the town,Charles Kwadwo Ntim is reportedly planning to rename B.A Stars and relocate the club from Nsoatre to Techiman.

Mandatory Change of Name

The first prudent step is certainly to change the name of the club especially when it is coming to Techiman. By that move, the name B.A Stars will not still linger in the ears of the local fans of Universal stars who will be ready to support the new club in their area.

Assistance

He is a son of the land.Let us support him. After all it is Techiman that wins. These are some of the thoughts that the Techiman sports fanatics will be making in their judgement whether to accept or reject Micky Charles's club.

Hindrance

Without any reasonable doubt, there will be a fare share of hindrance for Micky's club in his own hometown. That is possible. To those raucous fans of Universal stars who still harbour the pain of an alleged plot by B.A stars to get them into trouble, they will never support that same club in their own  hometown even though it will come with a new name.

Mind-boggling

A lot of people  in Techiman do not understand while Charles Kwadwo Ntim will have to wait to see no club in the area before he decides to bring one.

Alhaji Iddrisu is the owner of the beleaguered Universal stars "I have heard that he(Micky Charles) is planning to bring a club here but I don't understand why he is now bringing a club to Techiman. You know we believe that it is B.A stars that caused us.That incident is not true.He is also from here so no problem. I am not in football again so i cannot say anything concerning his new club. But i will not sell any of my players to any Brong Ahafo team" he told GHANAsoccernet.

Assistance or Hindrance for Micky Charles' new club to be located in Techiman?
