Former Aduana winger Sampson Boampong's move to Portuguese side Braga fell through on deadline day

Former Aduana Stars winger Sampson Boampong Wirekoh, popularly known as Dormaa Messi' proposed move to Portuguese side SC Braga hit a snag on deadline day, a close source has revealed.

Wirekoh, who is without a club after terminating his contract with Aduana, was expected to seal a move to Braga but the move failed to go through.

He was denied a visa to the European country. This is because FIFA rules don’t permit players under the age of 18 to travel.

The player at the time of applying for the visa was a minor.

However, he is in talks with clubs locally to get a loan deal until summer to keep his fitness before moving to Portugal.
