Ghanaian midfielder Gershon Koffie says his target is to win the MLS title this season with Vancouver Whitecaps.

The 23-year-old is close to winning his first major career silverware with his Canadian club this season as they are currently on top of the league in the Western Conference.

Whitecaps are also in the final of the Canadian Championship Cup where they will be facing Montreal Impact over two legs.

But winning the MLS title remains the number one priority of the former Inter Allies man.

"The target this season really is to win the league," he told Happy FM.

"We are in the finals of the cup but the priority always is to win the MLS."

Whitecaps lead the Western Conference log with ten matches to the end of the regular season.

They will take on Montreal Impact in the first leg of the Canadian Championship final on Wednesday.
