Ghana defender Baba Rahman is keen on sealing a regular place in the Chelsea starting line-up after impressing in his Blues debut on Wednesday night.

The left-back made his Chelsea first team start in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, marking his debut for the Premier League side.

The 21-year-old helped the English champions keep a clean sheet in a 4-0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The 21-year-old was expected to play only a bit-part role following his transfer from German side Ausburg.

Following his impressive showing for the Blues in his debut, Rahman wants to be regular player for the English champions.

"I'm hoping to play very, very often - my main aim is to play as many games as I can here," Rahman told BBC Sport.

Rahman said he was only "a little" happy with own performance against the Israeli title holders, but said he would leave it to his two watching coaches to write their own reviews.
