Ghana international Edwin Gyimah’s much awaited transfer to South African giants Orlando Pirates is nearing its climax after he received his work permit on Monday.

Gyimah-24-years-old is switching from PSL side Super sports united to Orlando Pirates but has seen the deal dulled by work permit issues in the last two weeks.

The Ghana international is seen as a utility outlet by Pirates head coach Eric Tinkler with his ability to play both in defense and in midfield when the need be.

The Bucs finished a disappointing 4th last season and Tinkler believes the industry of Gyimah will be key in wrestling the league title back from their rivals.
