President Kwesi Nyantakyi has praised the Ghana Football Association’s Ethics Committee for sanitizing the sport in the country.

The body has been swift in dealing with matters which are likely to bring the game into disrepute.

Nyantakyi has warned all football administrators to be circumspect in their utterances or face the wrath of the Ethics Committee without fear or favour.

“The Ethics Committee is really working, because anybody who says something brings the name of the game into disrepute is invited for questioning,” Nyantakyi told Angel FM

“I was once invited to answer some questions, so they are functioning effectively, but I some club officials should refrain from acts that bring the name of the game into disrepute.”

It will be recalled that in 2013, Nyantakyi was invited by the Ethics Committee for questioning following his exchanges with Kwame Baah Nuako, a then Asante Kotoko International Relations Manager.
