Asante Kotoko can boost their league title winning credentials if they beat leaders Wa All Stars on Wednesday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Porcupines drew 1-1 away to Techiman City in their last game and they are expected to bag the three maximum points in their midweek clash.
Wa All Stars, who currently lead the league table with 31 points, beat Kotoko 1-0 in the first round.
Kotoko now have the chance to avenge that defeat not alone to consolidate their position on the table, but to also make their teeming supporters happy.
Midfielder Theophilus Nyame and centre back Evans Quao who suffered cuts on their heads against Techiman City have returned to training.
They are expected to hold their last major training ahead of the game on Tuesday at Adako Jachie.
Kotoko are still in third place with 27 points.
