Ghana Premier League Preview: Elmina Sharks vs Liberty Professionals- Debutants can break into Top 4 with a win
Elmina Sharks

This Saturday brings a big opportunity for newbies Elmina Sharks FC to move within the top four on the league log when they host Liberty Professionals at the Ndoum sports stadium.

Head coach Kobina Amissah is having a full squad for the first time this season as lanky midfielder Edward Ebo Mends returned to full training after recovering from an injury.

He has been out since the league started since getting hurt in the pre-season. He is likely to make his debut this Saturday against his old club.

Liberty Professionals are searching for their first away point as they make a trip to the Central region to face the newcomers this weekend.

They dropped points at home for the first time this season when they were held to a scoreless draw by champions Wa All Stars in their last fixture.

The Scientific Soccer Lads were handed a huge boost when youngsters Brite Andoh and William Dankyi recovered from the injuries they sustained against Wa All Stars a fortnight ago.

Shot stopper Alhassan Iddrisu Dida has also made a comeback from injury whilst Tamimu Muntari, Cephas Doku and Mohammed Issah Shaibu are nursing their respective injuries.
