Ghana Premier League Preview: Wa All Stars vs Aduana Stars- Sorry champions must fight to save season
Wa All Stars

Defending champions Wa All Stars have failed to get their title defense quest on track over the last couple of weeks after managing just one win in eight games.

They will, however, be at the Malik Jabir on Wednesday to tackle second placed Aduana Stars after losing 2-0 to 15th placed Great Olympics on the weekend.

The Northern Blues are sitting 12th on the league table and another lose in midweek could take them into the relegation zone.

Assistant coach Alhaji Mumuni Sokpari will still be guiding the club since a substantive head coach is yet to be appointed.

Young winger Alex Ofosu Acheampong is ruled out of the crucial encounter with an injury.

Aduana Stars' league title chase don't get any easier as they look to make it three victories in succession to pile pressure on leaders WAFA SC.

The Fire Boys dislodged Liberty Professionals in a 2-1 fashion to go level pegging on points with the Academy side.

They are only second on the league table on goals difference.

A win against Wa All Stars on Wednesday will definitely be huge statement on the chances of the 2010 champions to clinch the ultimate this season.

Captain and right back Godfred Saka is still recovering from an injury and can't join the other squad to Wa.

Daniel Darkwah is making comeback into the team after missing the last game due to his inclusion in the Black Stars B.
