Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew will begin his English Premier League career with a clash against Chelsea as his new team Swansea will face the Blues in their opener.

This comes after fixtures for the Barclays Premier League for the 2015/2016 season were released on Tuesday showing where the former Marseille star will play his first game in the English top-flight.

The Swans will travel to the Stamford Bridge, where they start their campaign against champions Chelsea in the season opener on 8 August.

André signed for Welsh side las week, beating off interest from West Ham, Newcastle and Roma.

Despite moving to the Swans, Ayew was one of the most in-demand players heading into the summer transfer window, following the expiration of his contract with Marseille.

The Ghanaian international penned a four-year deal at the Liberty Stadium, where his first home game will be against Newcastle on August 15.

Agreeing a deal for Ayew was a real coup for Swansea, with the 25-year-old considered one of the best players in Ligue 1 last term, and with the Welsh club unable to offer the same kind of draw as the other interest parties.

But Ghanaian fans would not only be having the Ayew interest, for there are some really hot storylines in the fixtures.
