Ghana U20 coach names strong squad to face Uganda

Ghana Under-20 coach Maxwell Konadu has named an experienced 18-man squad to face Uganda on Saturday in a penultimate 2013 African Youth Championship qualifier.

The Black Satellites pack includes two members of Berekum Chelsea's team centre-back Ahmed Adams and rugged midfielder Owusu Jackson made the cut.

In-form Heart of Lions striker Benjamin Fadi and Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Anaba will assist with their vast experiences of playing in the Ghana Premier League.

South Africa-based duo Mumuni Abubakar and Frank Sarfo-Gyamfi will join the team for the trip.

The team will leave Accra on Tuesday afternoon for the first leg tie which will be played in Nakivubo.

Ghana Under-20 squad:

Goalkeepers: Muntari Tagoe, Felix Annan

Defenders: Seidu Salifu, Richmond Nketiah, Jeremiah Akorful, Ahmed Adams, Lawrence Lartey, Daniel Amartey

Midfielders: Mumuni Abubakar, Owusu Jackson, Isaac Sackey, Frank Sarfo Gyamfi, Joseph Baffour Gyewu, Michael Anaba, Emmanuel Gyamfi, Jacob Appau.

Strikers: Patrick Twumasi, Benjamin Fadi.
