Ghanaian youth international Thomas Partey will leave Spanish giants Atletico Madrid in such of regular playing time at a La Liga side, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.

The 22-year-old midfielder has struggled to make the Atleti first team squad for games as he managed to make the 18-man squad for games just twice in the entire season (against Villarreal in late September and Astana in the Uefa Champions League earlier in November).

He has not played a league game for Diego Simeone's side since the start of the season.

Partey, a former Tema Youth player, flourished on loan at relegated Almeria in the La Liga last term, scoring four (4) league goals in 31 appearances but has failed to push his way through for a regular first team slot.

GHANAsoccernet.com checks understand a host of clubs have lined up for the signature of the midfielder with Las Palmas leading the race to land him on loan.

Levante and Real Betis are also among clubs who are aiming to sign the midfielder who joined Atleti in 2012 from Ghana.

Partey has had successful loan spells at Real Mallorca as well, scoring five (5) goals in 37 appearances.
